Welcome to CK Crafty Creations.
Today we’re going to be painting Make a wish.
Dandy Lions can be kind of a nuisance. I just loved picking them when they’re in this puffball stage and then making a wish when blowing them.
Good thing about this painting is really you can use any of your favorite colors for a background. Today I’m going to be using Caribbean and green and white.
So we’re going to start on the left side of the canvas. Take your white and move it up and down on your canvas, adding more and more of your favorite colors as you go across all the way to the right. Don’t forget to cover your edges and blend. After this we’re going to let it dry.
Once it’s dry, we’re going to start using a circle sponge and blot circles of different hues of the colors all over the whole canvas. Again, we want to let this dry before we start making our puff ball.
Choose a center point for your puff ball. Take white paint and a thin brush and paint white lines coming out from the center. Make the lines thinner and more faint at the ends.
Bundle several Q-tips together and dip it into our white paint. We’re going to dot all around the ends of our white lines, creating a donut shape. Make your puff ball as big as you’d like on the canvas.
We’re going to paint a quick little stem.
We’re going to add a few little flyaways from our wish.
